Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors Analysis<\/h2>\n

The Miami Heat host the Toronto Raptors in their 2nd head-to-head meeting in the past three days from South Beach. The Heat prevailed in the first contest by the final score of 112-109.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Butler led the way with a game high 24 points. It looks like both sides could be missing some key players for this one.<\/p>\n

These teams will meet two more times after this showdown with both games being played north of the border in Toronto. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:40 PM EST\/4:40 PST from FTX Arena in Miami.<\/p>\n

Raptors Seek Revenge<\/h3>\n

The Toronto Raptors will be looking to avenge a 112-109 loss against the Miami Heat on Saturday evening. Pascal Siakam had another outstanding game with 23 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Fred VanVleet dealt with early foul trouble in a rough outing that ended with 7 points, 10 assists and 5 fouls. There was a skirmish between the Heats Caleb Martin and the Raptors Christian Koloko during the 3rd quarter and both players are suspended for this game.<\/p>\n

Chris Boucher and Otto Porter Jr didn’t play on Saturday, however Boucher is expected to return to action Monday night. Scottie Barnes is also listed as questionable for this one with an ankle injury.<\/p>\n

The Raptors are now 1-2 after back-to-back losses to the Heat and Brooklyn Nets, a win here would go a long way to getting the Raps back on track.<\/p>\n

Heating Up In Miami<\/h3>\n

The Miami Heat hung on for their first victory of the season as they beat the Toronto Raptors 112-109 on Saturday evening. Jimmy Butler led all scorers with 24 points while also adding 5 assists and 4 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Kyle Lowry also chipped in with 17 points, 6 assists and 2 rebounds. The Heat led by 21 points at halftime but the Raptors stormed back and cut the lead to single digits in the second half. Nikola Jovic will also be suspended due to leaving the bench during the incident between Martin and Koloko.<\/p>\n

Miami out-rebounded Toronto 44-37 and survived turning the ball over 16 times during the contest. Victor Oladipo and Omer Yurtseven will be both be out again as neither player has appeared in a game yet this season.<\/p>\n

Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors Prediction<\/h2>\n

The Miami Heat are favored by 3.5 points with a total set at 215. The side and total both feel like coin flips with how familiar these teams are with each other.<\/p>\n

Luckily NBA player props are now readily available to us. The Miami Heat will be playing their dreaded third game in four days and their bench will be thin without Martin & Jovic.<\/p>\n

Kyle Lowry has scored 17 points in each his last two games, including Saturday against tonight’s opponent. Lowry won a title in Toronto and he played the majority of his career north of the border. It sets up for a nice motivation spot for Lowry.<\/p>\n

He only faced his former squad once last season and scored 16 points. The Lowry points prop is only 11.5 and he should see plenty of extra shots tonight to push him up and over this total.<\/p>\n
