Tottenham vs Newcastle Betting Analysis<\/h3>\n

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has led a resurgence this season, with the Magpies riding a six-game unbeaten streak into Sunday’s clash with Tottenham that has Newcastle’s supporters thinking about a possible top-six placement this season.<\/p>\n

Tottenham, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after getting manhandled by a rampant Manchester United team in midweek in a 2-0 loss that arguably should have been much more if not for the heroics of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in that game.<\/p>\n

Tottenham has won three of its last six meetings against Newcastle, with two draws and one Newcastle win also. Spurs did blitz past the Magpies 5-1 in their last win in this venue back in April.<\/p>\n

Newcastle\u2019s results this season have been extremely impressive so far, registering just one loss on the road all season (coming against Liverpool who needed a late 98th-minute injury-time winner). That success on the road has Newcastle firmly in the race for European placement so far this season as well.<\/p>\n

Newcastle has earned those results, with expected points data suggesting Newcastle should be even higher in the table in fourth spot this season, along with them having the league\u2019s third-best xG numbers and sixth-best defensive xGA numbers this year as well.<\/p>\n

Tottenham’s Stark Home vs Road Form<\/h3>\n

With just one win over their last four road games, Spurs will no doubt welcome a return to the confines of North London to host Newcastle this weekend.<\/p>\n

Tottenham has been much stronger at home this season, winning all five of their games and ranking as the EPL\u2019s second-best home team overall behind only Manchester City.<\/p>\n
