Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For September 6<\/h2>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Franmil Reyes (+750)<\/h2>\n

Ever since Franmil Reyes has become a Cub he\u2019s been a much better hitter overall than when he was with the Guardians. He\u2019s raised his average from .213 to .231 and he\u2019s hit four of his 13 home runs during the last month or so of play as well.<\/p>\n

He and the Cubs get Justin Dunn and the Reds tonight and Reyes seems to be one of the only sources of power the Cubs currently have in their lineup with Wilson Contreras out with injury.<\/p>\n

Reyes hits .282 at home and posts a .241 average against righties compared to .200 against lefties. He has a home run against the Reds already this season. Dunn has been decent on the road this season but has given up three home runs in 15.2 road innings pitched.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s a fly ball pitcher who has allowed at least one home run in each of his five starts this season. Get Reyes at +400 but another Cubs hitter to consider is Ian Happ at +500<\/strong> and if Contreras<\/strong> is in the line up, get him at +440<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Tommy Edman (+1200)<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Cardinals were uncharacteristically shutout by the Nationals last night and they\u2019ll make sure that doesn\u2019t happen tonight with Washington sending Paolo Espino to the mound tonight. During his only start against the Cardinals this year he went 4.2 innings giving up four earned runs and two home runs.<\/p>\n

Nolan Arenado and Paul DeJong were the two to hit home runs during their last encounter but today we\u2019re going to look at Tommy Edman who is on a 8-game hitting streak which includes four home runs during that span.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s hit .435 in the last seven days with eight of his 13 home runs coming at home in less amount of at-bats than on the road. Look for Edman to rip a home run right out of the box as he posts the best metrics metrics when the count is 0-0.<\/p>\n

Get Edman at a valuable +1200 to hit a home run with other safer bets being Paul Goldschmidt (+340)<\/strong> and Nolan Arenado (+320)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
