Both teams had a scheduled day off yesterday after losing their weekend series. The White Sox were swept at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks in dominant fashion.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile the Royals lost two home games against the San Diego Padres. Two right-handed starters will be going head-to-head as the 26 year-old Brady Singer toes the rubber for Kansas City, while Chicago counters with the 28 year-old Lucas Giolito. First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 PM EST\/5:10 PST.<\/p>\n
White Sox Need To Right Ship<\/h3>\n
The Chicago White Sox entered the season with the expectation to win the American League Central. They have hovered around .500 all season and currently sit with a losing record at 63-65.<\/p>\n
