Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For August 29<\/h2>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Nolan Arenado (+210)<\/h2>\n

For those unfamiliar with Reds starter tonight, Chase Anderson he\u2019ll be making his first start of the 2022 season after a dismal showing with the Phillies last season in which he finished 2-4 with a 6.75 ERA and the year prior where with Toronto he finished with a 7.22 ERA in 10 games.<\/p>\n

He gets the Cardinals tonight in which Nolan Arenado has had some great career success against Anderson going 8-27 with four home runs.<\/p>\n

Anderson is a fly ball pitcher which may not bode well pitching at the Great American Ball Park tonight for him and if you consider the fact that Arenado has hit .450 in the last week with two home runs, this is a recipe for him to crank a home run out in Cincinnati tonight.<\/p>\n

Arenado\u2019s home\/road splits are pretty much even in major categories and he hits .321 in night games compared to .280 in day games.<\/p>\n

Against Cincinnati so far this season Arenado has hit .310 with a home run. Arenado is (+210) to hit a home run but if you\u2019re looking for some more value consider Corey Dickerson (+580)<\/strong> and Tyler O\u2019Neil (+285)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Giancarlo Stanton (+240)<\/h2>\n

Giancarlo Stanton has been subpar since his return from injury on August 25th. He hasn\u2019t hit a home run yet and hasn\u2019t hit one in his last seven games played.<\/p>\n

He and the Yankees get Jose Suarez and the Angels tonight. Stanton is 2-4 with a home run all-time against Suarez and although he hasn\u2019t faced an Angels pitcher this season, he hits .320 all-time against current Angels starting and relief pitchers.<\/p>\n

For some reason, Stanton is a much better hitter when he\u2019s playing in the field as opposed to DH so be sure to check where manager Aaron Boone has him slotted in the lineup before first pitch.<\/p>\n

Stanton is +240 to hit a home run tonight but other Yankees hitters to consider hitting a home run are Aaron Judge (+210)<\/strong> and for a little more value DJ Lemahieu (+700)<\/strong> who\u2019s hitting .300 against lefties this season.<\/p>\n
