Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For August 25<\/h2>\n

With it being a travel day for the MLB we have limited options for tonight’s slate of action. WagerTalk content contributor Kyle Kargel provides his daily home run prop picks and predictions for Thursday, August 25 with odds provided by PointsBet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: George Springer (+310)<\/h2>\n

Kutter Crawford is a fly ball pitcher which doesn\u2019t work in his favor going up against a team like the Blue Jays at Fenway Park. Crawford allowed three home runs to the Orioles in his last start and five home runs in total his past three starts.<\/p>\n

George Springer has been absolutely on fire the past 15 days hitting .600 but the glaring omission is that he doesn\u2019t have a home run during that span. Springer missed some time this month with an injury and hasn\u2019t hit a home run since July 26 so he\u2019s due.<\/p>\n

He hits .292 on the road compared to .260 at home and has a .339 average against the Red Sox this season with three home runs which is tied for the most home runs against any MLB team Springer has faced this season.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays know this is a game they have to win to stay afloat in the AL Wildcard and sweeping the Red Sox in Fenway Park will give this team even more confidence. Get Springer at +310, but other Blue Jays power hitters to consider are Matt Chapman (+310)<\/strong> and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (+320)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Brandon Nimmo (+520)<\/h2>\n

Brandon Nimmo had a power filled July hitting five home runs but only hitting .222 during that month. In August he flipped the script only hitting one home run this month so far but improving his average, hitting .273 in August so far.<\/p>\n

That one home run came only three games ago so he seems to be putting it all together as of late. He and the Mets dropped two straight in the Bronx and are looking to get back on track at home welcoming the Rockies and starting pitcher Ryan Feltner.<\/p>\n

Feltner has allowed a home run in each of his past four starts and allowing 14 earned runs in total during that span. He sports a 6.26 road ERA allowing five home runs in 27.1 innings pitched away from Coors Field. Six of the 10 home runs he\u2019s allowed this season have been to lefties.<\/p>\n

Nimmo being a lefty has been solid against right handed pitching with eight of his 11 home runs coming against righties and he\u2019s hitting .273 against them as well opposed to hitting only .247 against lefties.<\/p>\n

Hitting .364 against Colorado so far this year, you can get Nimmo at (+520) with other Mets hitters to consider are of course Pete Alonso (+320)<\/strong> and Dan Vogelbach (+420)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
