Shamrock Rovers vs Ferencvaros Analysis<\/h3>\n

Shamrock Rovers have a monumental task ahead of them on Thursday as they host a Ferencvaros side over in Dublin who took home a convincing win last week in the first leg in Budapest.<\/p>\n

Adama Traore scored a brace for the home side in that one and they\u2019ll be extremely confident of finishing the Irish side off here in Tallaght Stadium on Thursday in front of what should be a packed home support.<\/p>\n

The one advantage for Shamrock Rovers is that they come off an excellent 3-0 victory over league rivals Dundalk over the weekend to place a firm grip on the domestic title, so full focus will be on Ferencvaros ahead of this one.<\/p>\n

Ferencvaros Expected To Be Fresh<\/h3>\n

Ferencvaros had the weekend off from domestic action on Sunday so they should be well rested ahead of their trip to Ireland on Thursday to face Shamrock Rovers.<\/p>\n

The Hungarian champions also own a solid record on their travels as well, not having lost away from home since January, so will no doubt be confident of extending that unbeaten run here.<\/p>\n

Decade-Long Wait Almost Over For Rovers<\/h3>\n

While their dreams of a Europa League group stage place may be all but over for this year, Shamrock Rovers nonetheless have the consolation of knowing they\u2019ll be involved in the Europa Conference League this season at minimum.<\/p>\n

Stephen Bradley is expected to name an unchanged squad from the side that defeated Dundalk at the weekend as they look ahead to their first European group stage in over a decade.<\/p>\n

Shamrock Rovers will at least play for pride here and in front of a packed house in Dublin in what is almost surely their last Europa League game of the season, expect them to give a best effort in this one.<\/p>\n

Whether that will be enough or not is up for debate, but with Rovers likely looking to make a game of it, and Ferencvaros having the ability to pick them off at the other end, we should see goals in this one.<\/p>\n
