Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Nick Castellanos (+390)<\/h2>\n
Nick Castellanos and the Phillies get a juicy matchup in T.J. Zeuch and the Cincinnati Reds. Zeuch has been terrible in his two starts for the Reds this season pitching eight total innings while allowing 12 earned runs including four home runs.<\/p>\n
One of those starts actually came against the Phillies in which Castellanos hit a home run, but Castellanos has been hot otherwise. He\u2019s hitting .316 in August, .375 in the past week and has four home runs total this month, tied for most of any month this season for him.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s hit .364 against the Reds in total this season with two home runs. He\u2019s seemed to carve out a comfortable role hitting 5th in the lineup where he\u2019s hitting .330 compared to hitting .258 hitting 4th and .203 hitting 3rd. Castellanos also has home runs off Reds relievers Luis Cessa and Ross Detwiler.<\/p>\n
The Reds in general have one of the worst bullpens in the league as previously stated in previous home run prop breakdowns. Get Castellanos at +390 while other Phillies hitters to consider are Rhys Hoskins (+240)<\/strong> who has a home run off Zeuch this season and Kyle Schwarber(+250)<\/strong> who\u2019s due for a home run soon.<\/p>\n Since Rafael Devers has come back from injury on August 2nd he hasn\u2019t been his normal self hitting only .187 and seeing his overall average drop from .324 to .300. The Red Sox\u2019s playoff chances are all but gone but they\u2019re still battling where they can in games.<\/p>\n They get the Blue Jays rolling out Jose Berrios who\u2019s allowed the 2nd most home runs of any pitcher in the league at 26. Berrios\u2019 road pitching woes are well documented sporting a 6.82 ERA while allowing 15 home runs in 60.2 innings pitched away from the Rogers Centre.<\/p>\n That comes out to a home run allowed every four road innings pitched. The only thing Berrios has going for him is that he was solid in his last road start against the Yankees going 6.2 innings while allowing only one earned run, but the Yankees have been struggling offensively lately.<\/p>\n Boston at the very least wants to play spoiler for potential AL playoff teams and that includes the Blue Jays. Devers hits .318 at home and has a .261 average against the Blue Jays so far this season. Get Devers at +350, but other Red Sox hitters you could target to hit a home run are Xander Bogaerts (+600)<\/strong> and Kike Hernandez (+600)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Interested in placing a home run prop bet?
