On the road however, the Huskies went 0-6 last year, including a 45-0 beatdown against Fresno State in their opening road game.<\/p>\n One positive for Connecticut however, is the fact they\u2019re returning 12 starters to the team this year, with six on offense and six on defense, so we should at least see a little more consistency from this team moving forward.<\/p>\n Utah State have been red-hot at home in previous season openers, going on a current 12 game win streak against non-conference opponents inside Maverik Stadium and are 43-17 in their last 60 home games here overall as well.<\/p>\n With the Aggies returning one of the most experienced offensive lines in the nation this season, expect this team to be a tough out in any game being played in Logan.<\/p>\n This is an extremely hard game to predict on Saturday, but we nevertheless see some small value in backing the Huskies in this one.<\/p>\n Connecticut were extremely porous defensively last year, but were actually slightly better on the road than they were at home, giving up an average of almost 30 passing yards per game less to opponents than in Hartford.<\/p>\n Similarly, their red zone opponent scoring percentage was about 10% less on the road than at home as well, so we may well see a better effort from Jim Mora\u2019s men traveling away from home in this one.<\/p>\n Take Connecticut +27 for small stakes on Saturday as they look to keep things relatively close against Utah State in Logan this weekend.<\/p>\n Prediction: Connecticut Huskies +27<\/strong><\/p>\n \n \n Ready to take your favorite WagerTalk handicappers wherever you travel this football season?
