Today’s MLB Home Run Prop Bets For August 17<\/h2>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Trea Turner (+320)<\/h2>\n

Trea Turner his .328 against lefties this season and specifically against Brewers lefty tonight Eric Lauer, he\u2019s 5-10 with two home runs.<\/p>\n

Turner has 18 home runs total this season in which half have come against left handed pitching. What stands out is he got to nine home runs in 119 at-bats against lefties compared to his other nine against righties in 351 at-bats.<\/p>\n

Lauer has been solid at home but has allowed seven home runs in 54.1 innings pitched at home coming out to one home run allowed every 7.5 innings pitched. His last four home starts though haven\u2019t come against better teams in baseball facing the Reds, Rockies, Pirates and Cubs.<\/p>\n

This Dodgers as a whole will be quite different than facing those teams and Turner specifically is out to take advantage of the opportunity. The Brewers have only won five of their past 14 games, but did have a walk-off win against these Dodgers last night.<\/p>\n

Get Turner at +320, but other Dodgers hitters to consider hitting a home run are Mookie Betts (+290)<\/strong> hitting .315 with eight home runs against lefties and Cody Bellinger (TBD)<\/strong> who is 5-15 with a home run all-time against Lauer.<\/p>\n

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Wilmer Flores (+500)<\/h2>\n

Wilmer Flores\u2019 power has gone away this month just after hitting six home runs in July. He only has one in August so far coming all the way back on the 1st, but he and the Giants get Zach Davies tonight who hasn\u2019t been the best on the road this season.<\/p>\n

Davies sports a 5.00 ERA allowing nine home runs in 45 road innings pitched so far this season. Flores is 3-7 all-time against Davies and the Giants have found their winning ways as of late taking five straight.<\/p>\n

Flores has a .250 average with two home runs so far against the Diamondbacks this season. He hits .275 at home compared to .237 on the road and nine of his 16 home runs have come at Oracle Park.<\/p>\n

Get Flores at +500 to hit a home run tonight. Other Giants hitters to possibly consider hitting a home run include Brandon Belt (+390)<\/strong> who is 4-8 with a home run against Davies and Mike Yastrzemski (+650)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
