Dynamo Kyiv vs Benfica Analysis<\/h3>\n

Poland\u2019s third largest city of Lodz will be the site for the game as war continues to rage in Ukraine, but that shouldn\u2019t dampen spirits for the \u2018home\u2019 side in this one as they nevertheless expect a ton of support to be in attendance for this final round.<\/p>\n

Benfica owns an impressive record against Dynamo Kyiv over the previous decade, winning three of their last four head-to-heads outright with one draw.<\/p>\n

Hot Summer For Benfica<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s been a hot summer for Portuguese league leaders Benfica as they sit joint first in the Primeira Liga alongside Porto, winning both of their games of the new season so far. Benfica has now won ten-straight games across all competitions heading into Wednesday\u2019s matchup as well.<\/p>\n

That win streak includes a 7-2 aggregate blowout of last season\u2019s Danish runners-up FC Midtjylland in the last round of this competition, and Benfica has averaged a colossal 3.4 goals per game across their last eight starts as well.<\/p>\n

Dynamo Kyiv Showing Plenty of Fight<\/h3>\n

Despite no league football in Ukraine currently, usually a major detriment to teams looking to get match fit for Champions League action, Dynamo Kyiv hasn\u2019t let that fact overly affect them.<\/p>\n

The Ukrainian side has played plenty of friendly matches in 2022 so far, but have faced only two serious competitive tests since December in Fenerbahce and Sturm Graz respectively.<\/p>\n

However, that hasn\u2019t seemed to have hampered Dynamo Kyiv at all as they overcame both of those tests in extra time and will look to make it win No. 3 here on Wednesday against Benfica.<\/p>\n

While Dynamo Kyiv has shown tremendous resilience in overcoming both of their last two opponents in Fenerbahce and Sturm Graz, this is an entirely different proposition awaiting them on Wednesday and we believe they likely fall just short here.<\/p>\n

Benfica is a team on an absolute roll right now and it\u2019s hard to see them coming off that either with both Rafa Silva and Goncalo Ramos in fine goal-scoring form heading into Wednesday\u2019s crucial matchup.<\/p>\n
