Veteran Trevor Story doesn’t have much post season experience in his career but in five games with the Rockies in 2017 and 2018 he batted .318 with a .545 slugging percentage.

We’ll take him to hit his home run prop today on the road as the Red Sox battle the Yankees in New York for Game 1 of their series. Max Fried gets the start for New York in which Story is 4-16 with two home runs all-time against.

Fried has made five starts in September with the only home run given up coming against the Red Sox and although he has posted a 1.98 ERA in five September starts, he has a lifetime postseason ERA of 5.10 and has given up a home run in each of his last two post season starts while he was on the Braves.

Even if Story doesn’t get the best of Fried tonight the Red Sox shortstop has had success against various Yankees’ relievers which includes home runs off of Jake Bird, Mark Leiter Jr. and Jonathan Loaisiga.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Andy Pages (LAD) +440

There’s no doubt that Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages has been a hidden gem for the team this season concluding the 2025 regular season with 27 home runs including three over the last 15 days of play.

He and the Dodgers will host the surprising Reds who send flamethrower Hunter Greene to the mound. Pages had two home runs off Greene during a game on August 25 and is 3-5 with three home runs all-time against the Reds starter.

Pages did most of his damage as a hitter at home this season batting .325 while slugging .594 including 19 of his 27 home runs compared to road games batting .221 while slugging .336.

Although Pages only batted .258 against righties and .313 against lefties this season, he hit 24 of his 27 home runs off right handed pitching.

Although Greene has had a successful 2025 campaign, he allowed 15 home runs this season with ten of them coming on the road in 39.1 innings pitched compared to the other five coming at home in 68.1 innings pitched.

In his last road start of the regular season at the Athletics Greene pitched just 2.1 innings while allowing two home runs in the process.
