The Rules
  1. Each participant will be given $ 200 play money as staring capital for the duration of the contest.
  2. There will be three MLB games each day. Users can place a bet in any or all of the three available games.

    3. Betting Options and Scoring

  3. Betting options include MONEYLINE, RUNLINE and TOTAL OVER/UNDER.
    • Moneyline Betting – has $10 for every successful bet. Users will simply guess the winning team for all or each game.
    • Runline Betting – has $5 for every successful bet. Each game has its own runline odds. Participants must be able to correctly predict the runline of that game.
    • Total OVER/UNDER – also has $5 for every successful bet. Users will win if they cover the OVER or UNDER total score of both teams during the game including extra innings.
    • Participants are only given specific points for every betting option in order to avoid unwisely and unnecessary use of their alloted initial capital. This will give every handicapper a chance to use his/her starting capital and only place a bet on games in which he thinks he has a great chance of winning. This is also aimed at allowing registered handicappers to participate at the whole duration of the contest instead of being eliminated by risking all $200 on just one bad bet.
    • Handicappers must place at least one BET in every two MLB playing dates. If he fails to place a bet within the alloted period of time, he will be deducted 20 points. This is to give fair chance to handicappers who are regularly place their bets on the contest./li>
    • Handicappers who failed to use their $200 starting capital one week after registration are automatically eliminated. Those who failed to place a bet for a week will also be deleted from the contest list. /li>
  4. BONUS points for MLB EXACTA and MLB TRIPLE EXACTA.
    • MLB Exacta – Users can win additional $10 if they sweep(win) all three betting options of one MLB game. That means winning the Moneyline, Runline and OVER/UNDER betting.
    • MLB Triple Exacta – Users can win additional $20 if they win the MLB Exacta on all three games available for betting on a given day.
    • All additional points will be added to their startup fund.

    5. Winner Determination

  5. This is a LAST MAN STANDING CONTEST. User with the most accumulated points at the end of the regulr season will win $1000 betting account from any of our contest sponsors (100% value if you're an active client, 50% value if non-active) plus the title of the "Best 2006 MLB Handicapper".

    6. Contest Prize

  6. Starting August, we will have a monthly winner. Whoever has the most points at the end of each month will receive $50 betting account from any of our merchant sportsbooks.

    7. Legal Disclaimers

  7. Registration is FREE. No real money is involved in the duration of the contest. By participating, each participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by the decision(s) of Contest Sponsor which shall be final and binding in all respects.
  8. Participants agree to allow Sports Betting Index to use their names and likenesses in any and all mediums now or hereafter known for advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world in perpetuity, without any compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.

    9. Prize Structure:

    (one) Grand Winner $1000 ($500 if non-active client)
    (nine) Weekly Winners ($50/week) $450
    Total Prize Liability $1,450
